Purpose

To provide accurate, sourced, and neutral information about peptides for research and educational context.

Sources we use

  1. Primary studies and systematic reviews indexed in PubMed
  2. Registered trials in ClinicalTrials.gov
  3. Official documents from regulators and sanctioning bodies (e.g., FDA, EMA, MHRA, TGA, Health Canada, PMDA/MHLW, NMPA, WADA)
  4. Approved product labels

We do not use vendor marketing materials, forum posts, or social media as sources for factual claims.

Evidence grading

See Methodology for definitions of human-rct, human-observational, animal, in-vitro, and none. Each claim in an evidence table is graded individually.

How entries are produced

Data is collected from public databases by automated scripts. Draft text may be prepared with the assistance of AI tools using only the collected sources. Every factual statement is checked by a human editor against the cited source before publication. Regulatory statements are verified against the official source on the date shown.

Entries are published for indexing only after they meet minimum thresholds: verified sources, an evidence table, a quality score, and sufficient substantive content. Entries that do not yet meet these thresholds are marked "In preparation" and are excluded from search-engine indexing.

Language

We describe what studies reported ("was studied in", "authors concluded") rather than making claims of effect. We do not compare peptides in terms of which is preferable, and we do not address readers with advice about taking any substance.

Updates

Entries show their last review date. We review entries at least every six months and update regulatory data when changes are reported. Clinical trial and literature data are refreshed weekly; changes are reviewed before they are published.

Independence and conflicts of interest

EviPep has no commercial relationship with any peptide seller, manufacturer, or clinic. We do not run affiliate links and do not accept sponsored content.
